Our Passion

At Best Me 360, personal styling is not just a business, it's a passion.  We believe that personal style should be fun and accessible to everyone.

Our History

Our history dates back to 2017 when our founder, Sarah Mueller, decided she wanted to change the personal styling industry by normalizing the everyday person having a personal stylist.  "Having a personal stylist should be as common as someone having a hair stylist or a nail salon they frequent. Your clothes have just as big of an impact on your appearance and confidence as your hair and nails do. "

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple - we believe that personal styling should be approachable and  affordable. We connect personal service professionals with our clients who need help feeling more confident. 

Working as a Best Me 360 Personal Service Professional

Independent Contractor

Our personal service professionals are independent contractors. This means you are your own company that provides services for Best Me 360 clients. You set your own prices, your own schedule, and decide what sessions you want to offer. 

What we Provide

We provide training, marketing material, a space to meet clients, scheduling tools, and payment processing systems.  That way, you can focus on just doing what you love. Leave the rest to us. Once you have been trained and are ready to take clients,  our scheduling system will alert you when you have a client session scheduled, then you simply show up for your session.   

What You can Earn

Besides being a very rewarding career, your earning potential is very open. Since you set the price for your sessions, you decide what your time and skills are worth.  When the client pays for the service, we keep a percentage of that and you keep a percentage.  If you want to earn more, you can raise the cost of your sessions, or open your schedule more to take more clients.

Independent Fashion Stylist

Position description

Role and Responsibilities
Meet 1:1 with clients to put together outfits and make fashion choices. Must identify a client's tastes, activities, body type, and desired image.

  • · Familiar with a wide variety of fashion styles for men and women
  • · Preps clothing and accessories as needed, such as steaming, etc.
  • · Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
  • · Maintain a neat and organized wardrobe area
  • · Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends, styles, and designs; stay current on styles
  • · Develops professional, constructive, and cooperative working relationships with co-workers
  • Visit local clothing stores weekly to know what fashions are available for clients. Ideal fashion stylist would want to create short videos of clothing outfit ideas for us to share on our social media pages. This will help potential clients see your personality and fashion sense - making them more likely to want you as their stylist.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Have passion for helping others look their best.
  • Must have experience helping customers choose clothing, such as in a retail clothing store.
  • Ability to choose appropriate fashion and accessory choices for a wide variety of clients.
  • Must be punctual.
  • Must be organized.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to ask right questions to uncover client needs
  • Formal Image Consulting or Fashion training, or attended a cosmetology school. We do provide 100 hours of training before meeting with any clients.
  • Desire to have a career as a Personal Stylist Professional

Additional Notes: This is a contract position. This means you will have flexibility to set your own schedule and your own session lengths and rates. This is a position that will give to you as much as you put in the effort and time.

Makeup Artist

 

Makeup Artist 

Position description

Role and Responsibilities
Meet 1:1 with clients to review their makeup routine and help them be able to use makeup confidently so they can look good everyday.  Guide them on how to use the products and brushes they own. Give recommendations on additional products or tools they may want to consider adding to their routines.  Must identify a client's look they are going for and know how to teach them to apply the makeup.  

  • · Familiar with a wide variety of makeup brands and products
  • · Knows how to talk with clients in a sensitive manner
  • · Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
  • · Maintain a neat and organized work area
  • · Keep up to date with emerging makeup trends and new products in the industry
  • · Develops professional, constructive, and cooperative working relationships with co-workers
  • Visit local makeup stores periodically to know what products and price points are available for clients. Ideal makeup artist would want to create short videos of makeup ideas for us to share on our social media pages. This will help potential clients see your personality and skills - making them more likely to want you as their makeup artist.

  • Formal professional makeup training of some kind.  We do provide 10 hours of soft skill training before meeting with any clients.
  • Desire to have a career as a Professional Makeup Artist

Additional Notes: This is a contract position. This means you will have flexibility to set your own schedule and your own session lengths and rates. This is a position that will give to you as much as you put in the effort and time.
