 The Clothes You Wear Matter. 

Like it or not, humans make judgements about others based on their appearance. It is human nature.  You do it. Others do it.

The first instinctual judgement: 'Is this person 'safe' or a 'threat?'

After that, our mind makes micro stories about the person. 

Are they approachable? 

Are they someone I want to know? 

Are they someone who is knowledgeable?

Are they competent? 

Being intentional about your appearance puts you more in control with your interactions. This is why many times, medical professionals are cloaked with scrubs or a basic lab coat - it creates a consistent image of  their staff. Imagine if your doctor came in wearing a graphic t-shirt and ripped jeans and dirty athletic shoes. In an instant, your trust in their abilities may be diminished. 

Same can be said about just general appearance in your everyday interactions.

Hello.  My name is Sarah Mueller.  I created Best Me 360 in 2017 after thinking about the idea for about 3 years.  My background is in Information Technology, but I have been an entrepreneur since I was a kid so starting a business based on an idea was just part of who I am.

I want to normalize having a personal stylist.

 I want it to be as common as going to a salon to have your hair done, or getting your nails done at a nail salon.  

I think the clothes you wear are just as...or even more so...important to the way you look and feel as hair, nails, and now eyelashes are. 

You get your hair done and you feel better. A little more confident.

The same is true about wearing a great outfit.

If you are comfortable and know you look good in the outfit you are wearing, you get a spring in your step. You feel good. 

Not feeling confident in your appearance can hold you back in so many ways. Maybe you decline an invitation to go out and socialize. Maybe you go through the drive through, rather than go inside to get your cup of coffee. Maybe you don't speak up in that meeting at work. Maybe you just want to go home and put your pajamas on. 

This avoidance of living a full and rich life can put you on an entirely different life trajectory. You don't meet those new friends. You don't find that great partner. You don't get that promotion. And the list goes on and on. 

I want to make personal styling services affordable and approachable.  Our personal stylists will not tell you to buy expensive clothing to look good. Our personal stylists will not tell you to throw away all the clothes you have and start over.  

They know that everyone has different budgets and different money priorities.  They also know you do not have to be wearing a $1000 outfit to look good. Color, fit, and style is most important. 

They also know that carrying extra weight, or having your body changed because of kids, stress, or a medical issue can be tough on you.  Perfection is not the goal. The goal is not to change who you are, but to help you to look your best just as you are. 

Body image issues are very common. 

Many of us can easily be mean to ourselves by not liking certain parts of ourselves.  If that is the case with you...maybe you don't like your tummy...or your arms...or whatever area - know that with clothes styled correctly, you can forget all about the 'problem' areas and focus on all the great things about yourself. 

Fashion is what you buy.

Style is what you do with it. 

Our stylists will help you find the colors you look best in. They will help you use clothing tips and tricks to dress your body shape so it looks amazing just as it is now. 

If you have ever felt self-conscious of what you were wearing and it caused you to hold back from speaking up, I encourage you to book an introductory session with one of our personal stylists.  The Fashion Color Analysis session is an easy first session.

Asking for help can be intimidating. We sometimes think we can do it on our own or figure it out by ourselves. I used to think this way and it delayed a lot in life for me. Asking for help takes courage and is really a sign of strength...not a weakness.
