Every aspect of our life is intertwined. When one area of our life is neglected, all other areas of our life can be impacted. If you neglect your health, it impacts your energy levels, your appearance, your moods, and your relationships. If you neglect your social life, it impacts your relationships, your health, and your work-life balance needed to create a long fulfilling life.
If you have ever felt like your life was off balance and that it could be better somehow, a Life Coach may be just what you need to adjust and live a more fulfilling life. Family members, friends, and co-workers can be a great sounding board, but many times they may not give you the fresh perspective that a Life Coach could. Ever ask a friend, ‘should I lose weight?’ – when you know you should, but they say, ‘no, you are fine.’ Deep down you know you are not at your best, and sometimes well-meaning friends and family keep you stuck.
All of the Life Coaches we work with have verified certification, have passed a nation-wide background check, and have signed a contract commitment to keep all conversations with our Best Me 360 clients confidential…you can even keep your contact information anonymous from your coach. Another great reason to use our coaches, is that none are local to the area. Since they don't know you or anyone else in your life - you can speak freely about the people and situations in your life without worry of what you say getting back to them. The life coaching sessions can be done via phone, or video conferencing. So you can be rest assured that as you share your issues with your Life Coach, they will be kept in the strictest confidence.
Unlike many other Life Coaches that encourage you to enter a multi-session contract for months or a year of coaching, with our Best Me 360 Life Coaches there are no contracts. You can make appointments with the Life Coaches once or as many times as you would like. You also have the freedom to see the same Life Coach each time, or make appointments with different Life Coaches. The Best Me 360 Life Coaches have one goal, and that is to help you live your best life.
Money worries can really stress you out. And, money worries can happen to anyone at any stage in life, or any income level. To live your best life, you need to be in control of your finances.
Research shows that having a good social life is linked to a happier life – no matter if you are a teen or in your 80’s. Moving to a new area, getting married, starting a family, or simply living the same routine can get us stuck in a social rut.
Life is about relationships. Romantic relationships. Family relationships. And, relationships with friends. Sometimes we feel stuck. Communication and conflict, or just feeling off about a relationship can be a big distraction in life.
The key to living an exceptional life, is to know what you want out of it, and then go get it. You can’t get what you want, if you are not clear about what it is that you want.
If you are not jumping out of bed in the morning excited about what you do, it is a sign that you need to adjust something. For as much time as we spend at work, it should be something you love to do.
Your body is the vehicle for your soul. Taking care of your body will allow you to do the things in life you want to. If you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything.
A coach (life, dating, health, sports, etc.) is someone who can help another person reach their goals or maneuver through a situation. A formally trained coach learns coaching techniques to encourage, challenge, acquire skills, and break through mental blocks, the coach guides the person on how to do something. A coach may or may not have ever been through the situation or been to the level of 'success' the person wants to get to. A good coach is someone who can get another to reach their goals. Think Michael Jordan's coach(es). They never got to the level of success that Michael Jordan has got to, but they helped him get to the level he wanted to be at. Same can be said about a birthing coach. That birthing coach may have never had children herself, however she may have helped many birthing mothers get through labor with a better experience.
A mentor is someone who has been to the level a person wants to achieve. Most mentors do not have formal training on how to be a mentor - they are a mentor simply by experiencing whatever it is they are a mentor for. They have been there before. They have achieved what you want to achieve. They have lived through an experience. A mentor is someone who can share their own experiences of their journey and what worked for them and what pitfalls they went through. A mentor may not know how they did what they did, and may not be able to tell you what you need to do, but they can share their insight into specific areas you have questions about.
A therapist is formally trained in therapy techniques and requires licensing. Most therapists in today's societies are trained to 'diagnose' a person as having a certain mental or behavioral condition and then treating that person with different techniques with hopes of a 'cure' or 'management' of their diagnosis.
There is a place and time for each of these roles. We wanted to offer a variety of life coaches to our clients and create some professional boundaries and standards so our clients feel at ease to make appointments as needed or easily try out different life coaches without feeling the awkwardness of working directly with the coaches. Sometimes you just don't click with a life coach...or you 'outgrow' your life coach. That is why all appointments are made using our receptionist rather than with the life coaches directly. There is no pressure to re-book, and we don't have life coaching contracts. And, if you are not sure which of our life coaches to book an appointment with, our receptionist will help you to choose the right coach for your situation.
